Hello AERO Members!
For the past 5 years AERO has administered the Howard Russell Research Grant to fund action research projects in schools and Boards. AERO acted as stewards for this money on behalf of the Ontario Education Research Council with the directive to administer an action research grant until the funds were depleted. As of the 2011-12 award year, the fund is at a zero balance. In keeping with AERO’s core values, the AERO Executive is proposing an AERO-funded grant to continue this tradition of encouraging and awarding excellence in educational research and knowledge mobilization activities.
The exact nature of this grant and the criteria for submission are yet to be determined. However, the Executive would like to solicit thoughts and ideas about what an AERO-funded research grant could ‘look like.’ We welcome any comments you have below. Please take a few minutes to submit your feedback. All feedback should be submitted by December 21, 2012.
