- Founding member the Hierarchical Linear Modeling Learning and Research Community (HLM-LRC) to encourage collaboration with this quantitative technique
- Acted as the AERO representative on the Ontario Education Research Panel (OERP), itself a network of researchers bridging school districts, post secondary institutions and government
- A leader in the Early Years Education Ontario Network (EYEON) and helped to partner AERO and EYEON in the development of a research grant dedicated to the early years field
- Worked with the Managing Information for Student Achievement (MISA) network in Ontario to support evidence informed decision making, effective teaching and improved learning through a collaborative approach to developing and sustaining the capacity of research in education
