On Friday, June 1st AERO members got together for the annual AERO Spring Conference. This year’s theme was Working Together – Collaborating in Educational Research. In the morning, attendees had the option of hearing a variety of recent collaborative projects dealing with Student Success, Early Years, and Bridging Gaps. Presenters were from various organizations across Ontario and included the Ministry of Education, EQAO, OISE/UT, City of Hamilton, and Toronto DSB. Read more about the day here.

Helping to make education research accessible and useful for Ontario teachers.
The Ontario Education Research Exchange (OERE) aims to support Ontario educators in their quest to develop evidence-based practices. We work with education researchers across Ontario to develop relevant and practical research summaries that are made freely available to educators on our website. To provide educators with a wide variety of research, we also partner with Ontario based education organizations developing their own research summaries (such as school boards and teacher federations), which are also made available on our website: http://oere.oise.utoronto.ca/ If you are interested in having your research developed into an OERE summary or would like to contact us, please email the OERE team at: oere.knaer.oise@utoronto.ca or feel free to contact Shasta Carr-Harris, OERE Project Manager, at: shasta.carr.harris@utoronto.ca The team at OERE look forward to hearing from you! |
